What We Do
The purpose of the community center is to provide a variety services to families and youth in the northwest side of Chicago in order to build on individual, family and community strengths and develop the individuals' and families' capacity to thrive. We provide a safe, fun, enriching environment for children ages 5-14 in the Hermosa, Humboldt Park, and Austin neighborhoods of Chicago in after school and summer programs.
Education
We provide a weekly After-School Program for ages 8-14, Monday-Thursday. The program includes cooking classes, soccer lessons with Intentional Sports, homework help, and Social and Emotional Support for kids.
health
We host vaccination events to help educate our community on COVID-19 and provide free vaccines for ages 5+.
